Refund Policy

Refund Policy for Purchases made through the Surrey Rugby website

Physical Goods - i.e. Playing and Supporter's Kit

The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations gives you the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of items from our website within a period of 14 working days, beginning the day on which the item is delivered. If you wish to exercise this right, do not open the item packaging and proceed as follows:

  1. Please advise us by email to secretary@surreyrugby.co.uk within 14 days of delivery, that you wish to make a return and quote your order number.
  2. We will send you details of the correct address to use by return mail.
  3. Ensure the packaging and goods are returned to us in "as new" condition. Opened, damaged or used goods cannot be refunded.
  4. When the goods are received your credit card will be credited with the cost of the item returned, minus the outward postage.
  5. Should you choose to exchange your item, you will not be reimbursed for the original shipping costs. You will also be charged shipping for the replacement item.

Undeliverable Items

If an item cannot be delivered it will be held at your local sorting office. Items are not held indefinitely and will eventually be returned to us. You will be charged further shipping should you wish for the items to be re-dispatched. We attempt to contact all customers whose items are returned to us.

If you choose not to have the item re-sent the original amount charged for shipping will not be refunded.

Order Processing

Surrey Rugby enters into a contract with you only when we send you an e-mail confirming despatch of your product and accepting your order. Such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom & will be subject to the interpretation and enforcement of UK Law under the jurisdiction of the English Courts. Whilst your card may be debited before the contract is formed, a full refund will be made immediately if your order is not accepted.

Fees for Competitions / Events arranged by Surrey Rugby and participating in County Squads

Events

if you book tickets for Surrey Rugby Events you may cancel your booking and receive a refund as long as you let us know by email to secretary@surreyrugby.co.uk at least 14 days before the event.  After that time the tickets are non-refundable.

Competitions

if you enter a Surrey compeition you may cancel your entry and receive a refund as long as you let us know by email to secretary@surreyrugby.co.uk at least 14 days prior to the first game being played.  After that time no refund can be given.

Squad Contributions

If illness or injury prevents you from taking part in the whole season's programme prior to the commencement of the programme then a full refund of your contribution will be made.  You must let us know by email to secretary@surreyrugby.co.uk  as soon as you receive your diagnosis.

International Ticket Applications

In applying for International tickets there are two parts to the transaction; an administration fee for processing your application and the cost of the tickets themselves.  The administration fee is non-refundable in any event.

By making your application through the Surrey Rugby Website you are entitled to the same distance selling regulation protections as you would be for buying physical goods from the County.  You have 14 days in which to tell us that you have changed your mind and want to withdraw your application.

In the application process you have accepted that Surrey County cannot guiarantee the location or price of the tickets that you have applied for.  In the event that a lower price ticket is made available to you then the difference between your remittance and the ticket value plus processing fee will be repaid to you after the last game.

We reserve the right to amend ticket prices in line with any changes the R.F.U may make.

We reserve the right to cancel any ticket supplied.
