From touch rugby in the mini sections to the 16yr age group we are looking for success in results, success in numbers, increase in teams and players who have benefitted and gone on to greater things.

Barnes RFC

Dedicated to playing open rugby with a smile on their faces. In May took 290 kids and parents to the Chichester Festival

MEN'S PLAYER OF THE YEAR (AMATEUR)

The best club player will be an outstanding amateur player who has performed brilliantly, led his team to league or cup victory, scored a vast number of tries/points or in some other way deserves recognition.

Will Crow – Dorking RFC

The scrum-half was a talisman for the Surrey side’s first season in League Two South marshalling the troops as well as scoring 22 tries

​​LIFE TIME AWARD

This award encapsulates all branches of our sport including, playing, coaching, administration, management or any combination of these skills. It is aimed at nominees who have devoted a major portion of their lives to the sport and deserve recognition for their efforts. The focus is on work and commitment, not necessarily success.

Kevin Walters – Kingston RFC

Played for club for 13 years before becoming a coach and a referee. When the club house was burgled, he provided overnight security. Helped clear rubble to make third pitch and found a 4,000 year old flint dagger

Geoff Robins – Farnham RFC

Former captain and record try scorer, now chairman who has raised the funds to turn the club into the finest amateur set-up in the south east of England

​ ​SCHOOL TEAM OF THE YEAR

Great and consistent results from school teams and evidence of recurring victories over a period of years.

Chinthurst School (Year 3)

Unbeaten in every match and every festival they took part in. Culminated in them jointly winning the National Schools Rugby Tournament at Epsom
